Walking at AU

I have started to exercise because I’m old and fat and need to get into to shape. Now that I’m retired I have the time and no excuse not too. This morning I walked at American University. I walked 2.28 miles. I’ve decided to take a picture on each walk I do. Here’s the first. It was shot on the campus with my iPhone 6s.

Goodbye iPods

Today Apple discontinued the iPod Nano and the iPod Shuffle. Sales have been down for years and they probably want more people to subscribe to their music service instead of buying music. I have tons of music that I have downloaded from iTunes for years. I simply make play lists and play them on my iPhone. I don’t want to subscribe to Apple Music because I don’t like streaming music where you have to use your data on your phone plan as well as pay the monthly fee. I just don’t get it. Maybe I’m old. Either way, I’m sticking with the music I’ve downloaded over the years. Also, I haven’t used an iPod in years either. I use my iPhone.

I Bought A New Car!

It was time for me to buy a new car. My old car was just fine but I wanted a new one. So today I went out and bought the 2017 Ford Escape. I had an Escape from 2002 to 2006 and got rid of it because it didn’t get great gas millage. Now the new one gets much better gas millage. I got the Titanium 4WD 2.0 Ecoboost engine. It has almost every option you can get on the Escape. I’ll be posting a video soon showing the new car and the cool features. Until then, enjoy this picture.
