Today I went to the Dail’s house for Easter dinner. It was so much fun to see their daughter and to catch up. The food was delicious and the weather was nice as well! I didn’t get a picture of the Dails though. Next time!

Lunch in the Garden
Yikes! It’s been a month! I need to update the blog. Today we went to the Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral to have lunch and check out some of the spring flowers. It was a gorgeous day and all the tulips were out! I also saw a couple of new birds! And all this on a Tuesday because my husband is on Spring break.
Happy Anniversary to Us!
Today is our anniversary! We’ve been married 7 years and have been together for 17! Yay for us!
This evening we went out to dinner to celebrate. We went to Café Milano. We love that place. We had a great dinner and some really nice wines to celebrate.
Wine Friends
Today we met our new wine friends, Steve and Joe at Delaplane Cellars. We are both club members there. We did a tasting of the current line up of wines. We then enjoyed a delicious charcuterie tray while enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine. One of the tasting room managers came over and asked us to taste some wines to see what we thought of them. That was nice of him. We enjoyed one of them but not the other one. We always have a fun time visiting wineries and with our new wine friends it was even more fun!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
For Valentine’s Day we went to Chef Geoff’s for dinner. We had a wonderful dinner. When we got home we gave each other our favorite chocolates. It was a nice evening.
