Every year we like to go to Gray Ghost Vineyards to celebrate my husband’s birthday. His birthday is coming up this week so today we went to Gray Ghost to celebrate. It had snowed and the vineyards looked cool with the snow on the ground. We brought some lunch items and enjoyed a bottle of their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. We had a nice day and it was a nice way to kick off the birthday celebrations for my husband.

Date Night Dinner
This evening we went to Martin’s Tavern for dinner. The temperature wasn’t too cold so we chose to sit outside. They had the heaters going and they still had their Christmas decorations up. We had a very nice time.
New Year’s Eve
Earlier this week I picked up my husband from the airport. He was returning for spending Christmas with his family. He came home in time to have New Year’s Eve with me. We had a delicious dinner of filet mignon and sautéed potatoes. And of course we had lots of wine to go with the meal. After dinner we watched the ball drop and then we were in bed by 12:30. We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve even though we didn’t have a party because of COVID.
During the evening I took a handful of pictures with my Polaroid. Instead of posting them all, I made a little collage of different times during the evening.
One More Dinner
The husband’s parents are leaving tomorrow so we went out to dinner one more time. We’ll miss them but he’ll be able to see them at Christmas time.
Happy Thanksgiving!
My husband’s parents came to visit for Thanksgiving a few days ago. Today he and his mom spent hours in the kitchen making dinner for the four of us. We had roasted chicken instead of turkey. Everything was delicious! I even remembered to have the canned cranberry sauce! I was the only one who ate it though. hahaha
