Today I went to Huntley Meadows Park to find some more birds for my bird count. Here are the birds I photographed:

Each year I start my bird count over. Last year I ended with 52 birds photographed. I hope to get past that number this year. My husband and I went out for a walk today and I photographed three birds. It’s not much but it’s a start for the new year.

I went birdwatching this morning and found two more birds to add to the list. Up to 21 birds now. I need to keep going birdwatching to increase my number!

It snowed a few inches this morning. It was a surprise since we had really warm weather yesterday. The last time I posted about Spring it was this same cherry tree. Now it’s covered with snow and ruining the blooms. The snow won’t last long though. It’s going to get warm tomorrow and into next week.
On my walk today I noticed the cherry trees have started to bloom. Here’s a picture of what I saw. So pretty!
