The Bombs Continue

Even more democrats have had bombs sent to them. Obama, Clinton and Biden among others. This is a little scary. And you know it’s some crazy Trump supporter who is doing it. I’d bet on it.

No pictures again today. I did walk a total of 3.30 miles today.

Bombs

Today several prominent democrats were sent pipe bombs. They don’t know where they are coming from or who is sending them. Knowing how things work, they will know very soon who sent them. We’ll see how this plays out.

I didn’t take any pictures today. I walked a total of 1.37 miles today.

Sad Day

Today the Supreme Court is expected to vote on Bret Kavanaugh’s nomination. Here is the headline on the Washington Post this morning:

We are in for some bad times to come with this. I just feel it. I did read an excellent opinion piece on the Washington Post that was spot on. I love it! Check it out here.

Update: This afternoon they voted to bring it to the floor. Split down party lines of course. But Jeff Flake asked for a one week delay to have the FBI do an investigation on the allegations against Kavanaugh. We’ll see how that goes.

Finally blue sky! I was able to get outside and do my walking today. I walked 2.08 miles using the exercise app.

Supreme Court Hearings

Today was such an emotional day. I haven’t mentioned it but for history I feel like I need to record it. Today Dr. Ford was questioned about her sexual assault allegedly committed by Supreme Court nominee Bret Kavanaugh. It was raw, it was honest, it was emotional. I watched all 9 hours of the hearings. I feel so bad for her. After her testimony many were convinced she was credible and true with her accounts.

Then Bret Kavanaugh took the stand and he was angry and yelling and blaming. He performed just like a rich, white kid who feels he deserves to be seated on the Supreme Court for life. I feel like he was not telling the truth or credible. Our country is split right now. I don’t think this is the time to be putting someone like him on the court. The senate is making a mistake if they vote for him tomorrow. It will ruin many lives for years to come.

In other news, we had a Twitter tasting this evening and tasted 5 different chardonnays. They were okay but none of them stood out as amazing wines.

I did not walk much today. I was consumed with the hearings. I did walk a total of 1.44 miles. But not with the exercise app.

They Are All Saved!

I’m sure you’ve seen in the news over the last two weeks about the 12 soccer kids and their coach stuck in a cave in Thailand. Well, over the last three days they have gotten them all out of the cave. The story has been dominating the news for weeks. But now it’s over and they are all safe. Now we can move on to getting all the immigrant children reunited with their parents.

I downloaded a new video app today called Moment Camera Pro. You can control all the individual settings for just $2.99. Here’s a shot where I changed the white balance to be more real. The iPhone camera made the scene more yellow and I didn’t like that so I fixed it. Not sure how often I’ll use the app but it’s no big investment.

I walked a total of 2.49 miles today.
