Today we went to the National Portrait Gallery in DC. I hadn’t been there in years. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We saw some great exhibits. I saw the Presidents exhibit, The Black List, The Civil War, and several others. It would really take a few visits to really see everything in the museum. I’m sure we’ll go back at some point.

Blue Ridge Mountains
No podcast today. Didn’t have anything to say. Tomorrow I will though. Until then enjoy this photo of the blue ridge mountains.

Happy Birthday!

Someone Like You
For absolutely no reason, I have this song stuck in my head. “Someone Like You” is a sad song but I’m loving it right now. Have you heard it? iTunes Link

And I took this picture today and it made me think of this song. Again, I have no idea why.

Christmas Tree
I set up and decorated my tree a few weeks ago but since I finally got around to wrapping presents, I decided to take a picture of my tree. I first took a picture with my iPhone but it was too dark so I got out the big camera. It’s still dark but it’s more clear. Oh well, here’s the tree for Christmas 2011.

Creepy or Not?

End of Fall Leaves
With a few windy days and some rain, almost all the leaves are gone. The trees are ready for winter. You can see in this picture how the leaves are drying up and dying off. This one was taken last weekend and since then they have fallen.

Fall Snow
Happy Halloween!

Fall Morning
This was taken this morning with my iPhone 4. The colors are really starting to pop around here. I love the fall!
