Old Computer

I’ve been buying a couple of old computers on eBay lately. Here’s my latest find. I got it for $80. It’s an eMac (USB 2.0). It is the low end eMac from 2004. It doesn’t even have Bluetooth. I have to use a wired keyboard and mouse. The problem is it keeps freezing up. After doing some research and taking the machine apart, I find that the capacitors need to be replaced. I’ve never done that before. But I ordered the parts I need and a soldering iron and I’m going to attempt to get this thing fixed. It’s like brand new. There was no dust inside and it came with the original box and cords. I think it was a good buy. I just want it to work. It’ll be a challenge but I’m up for it.
