This evening we had our annual Mardi Gras party. We had 18 of our friends come over and help us celebrate Mardi Gras. We had lots of good food, Virginia wine and lots of fun conversations. It’s always fun to have our friends come over and enjoy good food and wine.
We also celebrated Mr. Dail’s 50th birthday.
I walked a total of 4.63 miles today with .88 miles on the treadmill. It was a very busy day!
Back in February we had a Mardi Gras party. My husband found the little baby in his piece of King Cake. Since that time he has been hiding the little baby around the house. When I finally find the baby, I then hide it for him to find. Today the baby has moved like three times. This last time he put it on my computer. I need to think of a good place to put it now.
Today I walked 1.87 miles.
This evening we had a Mardi Gras party. We had about 12 friends over and enjoyed some wonderful food created by my husband. We also enjoyed lots of wine and great conversation. Of course I was so wrapped up in the party I totally forgot to take any pictures. However, here’s one of the decorations we used.
A total of 3.47 miles today.
On Monday the market dropped 1175 points. On Wednesday it was back up about 500 points. Today it dropped again. It went down 1032 points. I think we can safely say we are in a market correction. Of course Trump won’t say anything about the market going down and won’t tie it to his horrible economic decisions. Congress is battling out a new spending plan. Sounds like they have one almost set…it will only last two years. It continues to be a Trump mess in the United States. We will continue to slide into a recession I’m sure.
In other news, Mardi Gras is next week. We are having a party on Saturday night. It should be fun!
