One Year Anniversary

One year ago today I started writing this blog. I haven't given it up after 352 posts. I have no plans on giving it up anytime soon. You might be my 10,000th visitor. If so, get a screen capture of the counter and send it to me. If you are the 10,000th visitor and send me the screen capture, I'll send you a “special” photo of me.

Recently I read through my archives and realized a few things.

I wrote way too much about Shawn. I'm still not past that whole episode but I know I won't be talking to him anytime soon. I exposed a lot of feelings about Shawn during this past year. This blog pretty much started out because of him and what happened between us. This blog was very therapeutic for me. Working through my feelings and writing them down was probably better then seeking therapy.

Another thing I noticed was that I posted a LOT of photos. Photography has always been one of my hobbies so having this place to share it has been very rewarding. I know lately I have talked too much about photographing male nudes but that just happens to be the direction my photography has gone. I'm still enjoying it so you will continue to read things about my male nude photography.

I've also read a lot of books this year. I like writing the reviews of the books I read. I have been very lazy with my reading lately but I will get back to it and have another review soon. Reading is another one of my passions and I have so many books yet to read. You will be reading more book reviews in the future.

In the year that I've been writing this blog I've met several bloggers. I've also e-mailed and chatted with many other bloggers. I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that bloggers are special people. Maybe it's the connection we share but it seems that bloggers are nicer, more sensitive, caring, and concerned. They care about their fellow bloggers. They share their sorrows, their accomplishments, their fears, their depressions, their addictions, their loves…everything. They support each other through comments, e-mails, phone calls (drunk dials included), and chats. I have learned so much from these people. I easily have 50+ blogs that I must read everyday. I don't always leave comments but I read them everyday whether they update or not. And then this summer a blogger Tribe was organized and I just had to join. From there I've gained more blogger friends and more blogs to read. To all my blogger friends, and non-blogger friends who read my blog, I am grateful for your support during tough times, your fun comments, your phone calls (Homer), and for sharing my world.

It's been an interesting year. I've had a few short lived boyfriends, one major love that I may never get over, a few down times, many fun times, and lots of lives have touched mine. Here's to another year. My Blog will continue into the future.

Thank you all for reading and commenting!
