It's amazing what a little time, water, and sunlight will do for my balcony marigolds. About a month ago I planted these marigolds. They started as tiny little plants with only one or two buds. I wasn't too optimistic about their surviving and growing into healthy flower producers. Of course now I'm pleased with the progress they've made. As long as I pinch off the dead flowers and keep them watered, they do very well. Marigolds don't produce the most fragrant oder but do provide beautiful colors. They will continue to grow throughout the summer.
