At 12:17 PM today I stopped smoking. This picture shows the last one. I’m taking Wellbutrin to help with the cravings. So far so good. It’s been about nine hours and I really haven’t thought too much about it. I think the Wellbutrin is working. I’ve been a smoker for a LONG time and I’ve tried to quit a few times in the past but this time is different. I can feel it. Wish me luck!
In the process of moving the blog to a new web hosting service, I lost the picture that goes with this post.
Go Archerr, you can do it! You have plenty of support and cheerleaders here in the podosphere, call on us if you need it. 🙂
Wow! Very proud of anyone who sticks their best foot forward to make good changes in their lives….
For a minute there, I thought you were going up in smoke! (Like Cheech and Chong).
Good luck! Try to incorporate a new habit – make tea with a teapot, for instance. I gave up smoking about six years ago using patches. It’s amazing but, after a while, you never actually even THINK about cigarettes. It’s amazing what your brain will do for nicotine. I also found that, being a teacher, I didn’t get those cravings in the middle of class!
I am sooooooo happy! I want the people I care about to be around awhile, and that includes you giving up smoking. So, well done! I’m sure you’ll do well. Kia kaha!
Good luck!
