Today was the last day of school and I was presented with a $650 gift card to the Apple Store. What did I do the minute I got home? I ordered a MacBook! I got the white 2.0 ghz Intel Core Duo chip with 1 gig of ram and the 120 gig hard drive. I’m very excited because I haven’t had a new computer or laptop for more then 2 years. My current 17″ G4 PowerBook is almost 3 years old and while it’s running just fine and has been a great work horse for almost 3 years, it’s time to upgrade. I’ve been wanting a smaller computer for awhile now. The PowerBook is great but it’s simply too big and too heavy. I’m ready for a smaller, lighter laptop. The Apple Store says it will ship on Friday and get to me by June 30th. I can’t wait!
