Portrait Mode

So today I tried the portrait mode on the iPhone Xs Max camera. Again, I’m not sure how I feel about it. I used the depth editor to blur the background (Bokeh). I think it worked fine but I wouldn’t use it for anything professional. And again I’m noticing that if you don’t have a lot of light, the camera just doesn’t perform the way I’m expecting to. This has always been an issue with cameras on the iPhones.

Using the exercise app, I walked 1.53 miles today.

iPhone Pictures

Since I got the iPhone Xs Max, I’ve been taking pictures trying out the new camera. Here is a photo of flowers on our dining room table. We don’t have much light in there so I used the flash. I’m not sure how I like the flash. It seems harsh.

Using the exercise app, I walked 1.56 miles today.

Goodbye Old iPhone

Today I packed up the iPhone 8 Plus to send to SellYourMac.com to get a nice check. They are sending me $480 for the old phone. That’s nice because that makes the new phone cheaper.

I got the watch paired correctly with my new phone so I was able to keep track of the steps. I walked a total of 1.88 miles today.

Breakfast

Of course I had to take a picture of my breakfast with the new iPhone. Looks pretty good. And it was delicious.

I had a problem pairing the old watch with the new iPhone so I don’t have a correct reading for steps or miles walked today. I’ll get it fixed by tomorrow.
