I know this is old news but it has been WAY too hot the last week or so. I think DC broke like four high temperature records in the last week. Yesterday it was 94! I can't ever remember it being this warm this late. I miss the cool crisp nights and the bearable days. I want fall to come back. It looks like it just might later this week. The high temp today was 82 so they are slowly dropping. It's supposed to be cool by this weekend. I can't wait!

Fall Is Here!So glad fall is finally here. Fall officially started at 5:51 am this morning. It wasn’t very fall like today though. We had temperatures in the low 80’s. It was warm in the sun but nice in the shade. The boyfriend and I celebrated the beginning of fall with a nice lunch in the Bishop’s Garden at the National Cathedral. We had a very nice lunch. We are ready, however, for much cooler temperatures and beautiful fall leaves.
