I got iWork today. Looks the same but there are a few new things in it. I’ve installed it and haven’t had any issues so far. I have pretty much made the transition from the old Appleworks to iWork. I don’t think I have any old documents in Appleworks. I’ll be sticking with iWork from now on. iLife is coming at the end of the month. Of course Arthur pointed out that I shouldn’t buy iLife because if I get a new iMac, I’ll get it automatically. I didn’t think about that. I guess I should have thought about that. But then again, I don’t want to wait until they decide to release a new iMac.

Day Six of 365

I’m disappointed today because Apple didn’t introduce a new iMac computer. I am ready to get a new one but not today. They introduced iLife 09 and iWork 09, a new 17″ MacBook Pro, and some other minor things but nothing excited me very much at all. I’m just really disappointed in Apple today. Don’t get me wrong, I still love their products but I was just looking forward to a new iMac. Maybe they’ll introduce one later this month. We’ll see.

I found a little piece of software that will turn your digital photos into polaroid type pictures. The program manipulates the photos to look like they came out of a polaroid camera. Pretty cool. Here’s one of the boyfriend and I from a recent wine event.
