One More Last Concert

I thought we’d gone to our last concert last week but we decided to go to one more last concert. Tonight we got to see Kenny G. He was pretty good. There were songs we recognized and others we enjoyed even though we didn’t know them. It was a pretty good last concert. But this one really is the last one of the summer.

I walked a total of 2.86 miles today.

Funny Hat

This evening we went to Wolf Trap to see Bruce Hornsby. It was SO hot!!! The hottest concert we’ve had yet this summer. I was miserable. While we waited for the sun to go down, I wore this hat. It’s supposed to be used for rain but I used it to block to sun from burning my neck and heating up my head. It worked but people on social media made fun of me. No biggie. I like the attention. ha ha The concert was pretty good but we left before the very end.

I only walked 1 mile indoors today.

MoTown The Musical

This evening we went to Wolf Trap to see MoTown the Musical. Of course we loved it and enjoyed all the music. We’ve seen it before at the National Theatre. It wasn’t as good as that show but it was still good. We had a good time.

I walked a total of 2.56 miles today.

Music Day

Today we went to the Kreeger Museum to hear Kris Dunn & Cornerstore as part of the 2018 DC JazzFest. It was hot but the music was nice and we enjoyed it.

In the evening we went to Wolf Trap to sing along to the Sound of Music Sing A Long. They showed the movie on large screens and everyone got to sing along with all the songs. It was fun! We really enjoyed it.

Between the two shows, I did walk 1.11 miles indoors.
