Happy Halloween! We decided to go out to dinner and my husband decided to wear his costume from the party. After dinner we walked around the neighborhood looking at the Halloween decorations.
My father had an EKG this morning and is having some heart and breathing troubles. He’s still in the hospital.
Using the exercise app I walked 1.56 miles outside today.
I took another walk outside today and found some houses decorated for Halloween. Here’s one I liked.
In unrelated news, my father was taken to the hospital for breathing issues. He lives in an assisted living facility in Charlottesville. I’m sure I’ll get more information from my sister as things change.

This evening we went to dinner with the Dails. We went to Cafe Deluxe. We had a few bottles of wine and a great meal. Then we walked down to the Cathedral parking lot and watched some of the fireworks. We just missed the national ones but other jurisdictions were still doing fireworks so we could see those. It was very humid!

Back in February we had a Mardi Gras party. My husband found the little baby in his piece of King Cake. Since that time he has been hiding the little baby around the house. When I finally find the baby, I then hide it for him to find. Today the baby has moved like three times. This last time he put it on my computer. I need to think of a good place to put it now.
Today I walked 1.87 miles.
On Monday the market dropped 1175 points. On Wednesday it was back up about 500 points. Today it dropped again. It went down 1032 points. I think we can safely say we are in a market correction. Of course Trump won’t say anything about the market going down and won’t tie it to his horrible economic decisions. Congress is battling out a new spending plan. Sounds like they have one almost set…it will only last two years. It continues to be a Trump mess in the United States. We will continue to slide into a recession I’m sure.
In other news, Mardi Gras is next week. We are having a party on Saturday night. It should be fun!
