When I was a senior in high school I took a photography class as one of my electives. I bought myself a Pentax K1000 camera. It was a film camera and since I was developing my own film, I shot in black and white. It was easy to do and cheap. I never got rid of any of my old negatives. But in 1996 I was noticing they were beginning to deteriorate. I took the negatives I liked the most and had them transferred to CD. Tonight I was going through some old things and getting rid of things I don’t use anymore and ran across the CD’s with my old black and white photos on them. Here’s one of my dad taken in 1982. I was only 18 at the time but I think I took some nice photos back then. And I love the technology available today to make it possible to see these old photos in digital format. I’ll have to find some other old black and whites that I like and maybe create a black and white gallery.
What a beautiful picture. Nice job. I really enjoy your photography work.
Paul — YES, please create a B&W gallery, if you have the time … Your photography is very impressive — I’m sure your fans would be interested in seeing more …

Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll have to work on adding the black and white photos section. Thanks!
