Just a hand today.

In other news, I’ve started reading Band Fags by Frank Anthony Polito. I’ve had this book for awhile and just now decided to start reading it. I have so many books yet to read but I was influenced into starting this book because of MyGayBookClub.com. Band Fags is June’s book and since I had the book already I decided to read it and join the commenting fun on that site.

I’ve read the first chapter and it seems like it’s going to be a good book. It’s set in the mid to late 1980s….a time when I was recently out of high school and starting college. Of course I wasn’t in the band but I think I can relate to this time period since I remember it so well. Plus, I love 1980s music and I’m sure there will be references to music from that time. I’ll report how much I enjoy the book when I’m finished.
