So far Homer and I have had a pretty good visit. We didn’t do much today. I think I might be a boring host. I didn’t plan to take him anywhere or see anything. He’s been in DC before and has done the museum thing already. I’ve been a bad host when it comes to meals. I’m not a cook and I didn’t know Homer was a vegetarian so we’ve eaten out every meal except breakfast. Next time he visits I’ll make sure I have more meals planned. After having some breakfast we basically lounged around all day. We watched some of the morning show, Homer read the paper, we had some “stimulating conversation”, then decided to shower and think about lunch.
We went to Panera Bread for lunch. Luckily they had something we both would eat. While eating we scoped out all the cute guys and we were even scoped out by an obviously gay couple having lunch. I learned that besides basically liking white bread, I don’t really have one type that I’m attracted to. When we got home I played on the computer reading blogs and such while Homer took a nap. After his nap he let me take some photos of him alone and us together. It was fun. We watched some TV and discussed the plans for the rest of the day and tomorrow. I have to work tomorrow but Homer only has a few hours of work to finish up. I gave him an extra set of keys and directions to the Metro, etc. Then we made plans for dinner and how to get him to the BlogJam: The Homo Speak that Jimbo organized.
Since it’s a school night and I go to bed so early, I didn’t plan to go to the Blogjam. We went to Taco Bell for some quick dinner and then I dropped him off at the Metro. The metro has a cool site that not only gives you directions as to what trains and stations to go to to get to your destination, it also gives you walking directions to your location once you get to the station. I was impressed and Homer was happy he wouldn’t get lost getting to the Blogjam. I’ll be in bed asleep when he gets home but I told him that if he meets any hot men to bring home to call ahead and wake me up so that I could play too! He He He If anything happens, I’ll be sure to write about it tomorrow.
