The market took a dive today. It was down just over 500 points. The last time I remember this happening was 1987. It may have happened since then but I don't remember. Maybe it was bad on 9/11 but my memory escapes me. Of course this means my retirement is in the tank. I guess I could just work a few more years.

The sad part is John McCain said this morning “the fundamentals of our economy are strong.” I don't see anything indicating our economy is strong. His buddy Bushie says we can deal with these adjustments.

This is yet another reason we should make sure Obama is elected in November.
