Marriage Equality is one step closer to becoming reality in Virginia. The 4th Circuit Court upheld a lower court ruling that Virginia’s ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. The ruling doesn’t take effect for 21 days but probably in that time someone will appeal and that will end up sending the whole thing to the Supreme Court with other cases. It will still be awhile before we actually see marriage equality but it’s getting closer. It was a big day for Virginia!
