The price of gas is falling…slowly. That will make my road trip this summer cost a little less.
The nation's population is up to 290 million people. Hispanics and Asians make up the largest increases.
Today is Flag Day. On this day in 1777, the Stars and Stripes was adopted as the nations flag.
“The Supreme Court ruled today that a California atheist did not have the legal standing to challenge the constitutionality of the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance…” So…until someone else challenges the law, under god stays in the pledge. That sucks.
I taped the season opener of Six Feet Under last night. I watched it late this afternoon. Good season opener. I like how they pick up right where they left off. Nate found out about Lisa and most of the episode was about him dealing with what to do with her body. I won't tell you how it ended in case you haven't seen it yet. I did like what they did with the unclaimed remains of the kid who died in 1972. That worked out well. Keith and David are back together. Yeah! I like those guys. I hope things go well for them. Clare told Russell she had an abortion. He didn't take it well. Ruth and George made a lot of noise on their wedding night. So things are moving along well and of course I'll be looking forward to next week's episode.
I forgot to tape Queer As Folk last night so I have the VCR set for tonight. I'll have to watch it tomorrow after work. Might have to post something if it's interesting enough.
It's hot as hell in DC right now. Well, it's not that the temperature is all that high..mid 80's but the humidity is so thick. The AC was off in my building for most of the day today. I was a sweaty mess. I felt like a sponge. By the end of the day the AC was back on but the damage was done. When I got home I had to take a shower.
Oh. I found the free poll site. I have a stupid one up on the side bar. Feel free to vote. I'm going to try to put a new one up each week unless they become too annoying.
One more thing. I'm horny. More on that another day.
