Today we went and picked up our main Christmas tree. It was a beautiful day and we had no problem getting the tree and bringing it home on my SUV.
We spent the day taking our time decorating the Christmas tree and all the other decorations we put up around the house. Of course the tree is the best one we’ve ever had. My husband always says that when we are finished decorating it. It does look nice.
My husband’s parents came in town last Sunday for Thanksgiving. Today he cooked two chickens instead of a turkey. We had a lovely dinner and a nice time catching up. I had my favorite cranberry sauce! Yum!
Now that all the states have finished their counting, it’s official! Joe Biden is our next President!
Tonight we went to the Dails and ate outside while watching the coverage on TV. We had a great time celebrating!
I went bird watching today to take my mind off all the states that are still counting votes. I didn’t see many birds but I did get one more to add to the list. The mourning dove.
It’s looking like the election will go to Biden but there are a few states where it is just too close. They’ve been saying for weeks that it might take a few days for the election to be called but right now, Biden is up. I need to go to bed.
