New MacBook Air

Last week Apple updated the MacBook Air with better specs. My current MacBook Air was going on five years so I decided to order a new one. I got the 2019 MacBook Air with the faster processor, 16 gigs of ram, and only a 256 SSD. I don’t need anything bigger because I always move the files I’m working on over to my desktop. I got the space gray model. Now I have completely replaced all my Apple products. I won’t need to buy anything new until the iPhones come out in September.

Visiting Dad

On our way home from Charlottesville, we stopped at the Culpeper National Cemetery to visit my dad’s grave. It was good to visit him and for my husband to see where his resting place is. Another row of graves had been added since I was last there.

Beautiful View

We’ve been in Charlottesville for a few days visiting wineries. We’re staying at a cottage at Afton Mountain Vineyards. I got up this morning to this amazing sunrise. We’re having a great time on this little vacation and this view makes it even better.

New Grave Stone

So…my father died last November. He was cremated and his ashes were buried in the Culpeper National Cemetery. His grave stone did not show his service in Korea so we had to have it corrected. Today I was able to get down to Culpeper and see his corrected grave stone. I’m glad they corrected it to accurately show his service to our country. It was good to finally see his spot in the cemetery. Here’s a picture.
