Today is my father’s birthday. He would have been 88 years old today. I miss him. Here’s a photo from 2011.

Each year I try to remember to post a selfie on the first of the year so I can see how I’m getting older every year. Here’s this year’s selfie photo.

I walked a total of 2.81 miles today. No exercise app though.

New Year’s Eve Dinner

This evening we had our annual New Year’s Eve dinner. We had a few less this year but we had a new friend join us. Of course the meal was prepared by my husband and everyone loved each course. We chatted about everything and really enjoyed everyone being there.

After an evening of food and wine we watched the ball drop on TV and then had some champagne to help ring in the new year. We were all glad to see the new year begin.

I walked a total of 3.24 miles today. I cleaned the house so there was a lot of walking today.

Random Photo

I started my medications yesterday. The Wellbutrin was fine but I took the Trazodone at night to sleep. I slept pretty well but the side effect of congestion drove me crazy. I could barely breathe. So I decided I won’t be taking that any more. I’ll have to email the doctor next week after the holiday.

So tonight we were having dinner and enjoying our wine after dinner and I just randomly took a photo so I’d have one to post today. There is no meaning of the photo or anything.

It was a pretty lazy day. We only went grocery shopping. I only walked a total of 1.72 miles. No exercise.

He’s Home

I picked up my husband at the airport early this morning. We chatted about his trip. For the most part it was fine but half way through his uncle died. So he’s going back to New Orleans on the 1st for the funeral. Sad. Too much dying and sickness in 2018. I’m ready for 2019 to start.

The evening sky was beautiful today so I took a picture to share with you.

No workout today but I did walk a total of 3.34 miles today.

Medication

Today I went to see a psychiatrist to talk about medication for my mild depression and to sleep better. After talking with him for almost an hour, he recommended I take Wellbutrin to help me feel better and trazodone for sleep issues. I’ll pick up the medications tomorrow and start them then. I’m hoping they make me feel better. My husband comes home tomorrow. Yay!

I did do a little exercise app workout today. I walked 1.03 miles. For the whole day I walked 2.57 miles. No photo today.
