I’ve had Photoshop Elements 3.0 (PSE3) for about a week now and I’ve used a little but I’m finding it more difficult to find the things I was used to in PSE2. PSE3 isn’t as intuitive as the older version was. It’s got some nice new features and it does more than the last version but it’s not easy to learn. I wanted to edit some photos just to play around with the features and I was getting very frustrated finding the tools I was used to. After clicking around a bit I was able to find them. I decided to play with one of the photos I took of myself. I wanted to tweak the photo’s contrast and add a blue tint to it. I think I did a pretty good job. Again, it wasn’t all that easy but I was eventually able to find what I was looking for. I liked the effect so much that I decided to change the photos on my home page to this photo. And I added it to my sidebar. Working with these effects has given me some ideas to add to some of my other photos. Of course, when I have the time and decide to post them, I’ll let you know.
Obviously, by now the photos have been removed and replaced with others.
