Today the boyfriend and I went to run a few errands. When we got back there was a guy in the lobby saying there was a fire on the 5th floor and everyone needed to evacuate. Within like two minutes all these fire trucks were at his building.

Turns out it was a pot on a stove that was left to burn up. It could have turned into a bad fire without someone noticing the smoke in the hallway and telling everyone to leave. The fire men broke into the apartment and took the pot of burning whatever and put it in the snow. The whole thing was a little scary and a little wild.

In the evening we went out to dinner with our friends Mark and Shane. They treated us to dinner. Thanks! We had a great time. After dinner we went back to their place and place a game of Trivial Pursuit. That’s always fun.

When we got home for their place, the boyfriend noticed something in the laundry room as we were coming in. It was a pair of panties tacked to the lost and found/notes board. I think he likes the panties he found. Too funny.
