Great Sound
I haven’t bought anything technology wise for almost a year. Of course I would love to buy a new iMac or a new iPad but I can’t afford either of those. I did just recently get my tax refund back and thought I would get something new. I have seen those little sound boxes around for awhile now. You can connect them to your phone, tablet, or iPod via bluetooth and listen to music pretty much anywhere.
Back in 2006 I bought the Apple Hi-Fi and have been using it to listen to music in my house since. I have my old iPod Photo plugged into the top to control the music. It has been great sound in my house and I love it. However, I can’t take it anywhere. You do have the ability to put 8 big D batteries in it and take it with you but it’s huge and the batteries don’t last that long. I have kept it plugged in since I got it. It doesn’t have Bluetooth so it stays where it is.
When we sit on the balcony we tend to listen to music on the iPad. While that’s fine, it doesn’t produce great bass nor does it get very loud. So anyway, I decided this is year I would upgrade to the new technology and get one of those boxes.
I did a little research and found that most people love the sounds produced by the Bose SoundLink Mini. There are a few complaints that the bass is too much but that’s no big deal to me. I went ahead and ordered one. It arrived today and man the sound is amazing! It connects to my iPod Nano via Bluetooth. You can take it anywhere. It’s small, a bit heavy for it’s size but the sound is quite surprising. When we sit out on the balcony in the months to come, we will enjoy our music so much more now. If you are considering getting one of those little music boxes, check out the Bose SoundLink Mini.
