Last night the boyfriend and I had a dinner party at his house. Our friends Mark and Shane and Dorothy and Laura came over for dinner. The boyfriend made crab cakes. We had several bottles of wine of course. Besides the food, the best part was the conversation. These people are so smart and so aware of what’s going on in the world. We really enjoyed the whole evening! And even better, they let me brag about my iPad.
Last night the boyfriend and I went out to dinner with Larry Vader, ExtraSpecial Chris, and the Breeze. We had a great time meeting these guys and hanging out with them for awhile. What a bunch of great guys!

I was so glad when work was over today. I am so ready for a few days off to relax and recharge before going back to work next Monday. Tomorrow I’ll be going over to the boyfriend’s for Thanksgiving with his parents. They arrived on Sunday and will be staying for 10 days. It will be good to see them. I will report tomorrow with pictures of the Thanksgiving meal.

The boyfriend and I traveled to the Northern Neck of Virginia to visit some wineries. Today we went to four wineries. We traveled over 200 miles and my trusty Honda Civic Hybrid got 49.8 miles per gallon. I’ve gone 378 miles on this tank of gas and still have 1/4 of a tank left. That’s pretty good millage!
Tomorrow we’ll be visiting with my friend Bob and going to a few wineries with him and his wife, Jackie. I’m sure we’ll have a great time and take lots of pictures. I’d post more pictures now but I forgot to bring the cord that hooks my camera up to my computer to download the pictures. This one is of the boyfriend relaxing in bed at the hotel. I had to use the iSight camera on my laptop to capture this one.
