Today iTunes turns 10 years old. I’ve given them lots of my money over the years but love how it brought me into the digital audio and video age. I no longer buy or listen to CDs or DVDs. I know there are many who don’t care for iTunes but I happen to love it. Happy Birthday, iTunes!

Music Purchased
Thank you all so much for the music recommendations in the comments and in e-mail. You guys are great! So…I went to iTunes and checked out all the music that was recommended to me. Some of it I liked and some I didn’t like.
If I get some more iTunes gift cards, I’ll ask for more recommendations. I think you guys came up with some great music this time. Thanks!!

So I got an iTunes gift card from one of my students for Valentine’s Day…..weird, I know. But now I have some money on my iTunes account to spend. Of course it’s burning a hole in my computer pocket just like money would. So, I need some recommendations for some music. You should know though that I’m not into the follow genres of music:
•Country
•Hard Rock and Roll
•Christian Rock
•Hip Hop/Rap
•Opera
So knowing that, you should also know that I do like classical music and jazz (smooth and traditional). However, if you have any suggestions for music you think I should purchase, tell me and I’ll give it a listen and consider adding it to my iTunes collection. Thanks!
