Today I got started on the painting job. I needed to wash all the walls to get all the grease off and prepared for painting. Then I taped off the areas that needed taping. Then I started with the trim. By the end of the day I had all the trim done and one coat on the ceiling. I’ll finish that tomorrow. With all the activity today I walked a total of 2.41 miles. I didn’t have time for photos and really didn’t think about it all day.

Time To Paint
While I have loved the red color in my kitchen since it was renovated a few years ago, I think it’s time to update the color. I think the red makes the kitchen too dark. So while the boyfriend is away with his parents on vacation, I decided to paint the kitchen. Here are the before and the after shots. What do you think of the yellow? Does it make the kitchen brighter? I think so.
