The Snow Never Stops

MarchSnow
We had such beautiful weather over the weekend. On Saturday it got up to 70 degrees! It was cooler on Sunday but still very comfortable. Late Sunday afternoon the temperature dropped and the snow started. They were predicting 2 to 4 inches. When I got up this morning there was easily 8 to 9 inches on the ground. Luckily they closed school last evening so I didn’t have to worry about getting up so early. It continued to snow most of the day but tapered off by around 1 pm. It was mostly flurries so I don’t think much more was added to the total. Once the snow stopped I went out to clean off my car. Yep, it was almost 9 inches on top of my car. Once I got in the car and got the heater going, it was pretty easy to clean off the car. I did have to shovel the snow around my car and it heavy towards the bottom but I was able to get it pretty clean around my car. I guess this one will be forever known as the St. Patrick’s Day snowstorm.

On Saturday evening it was a full moon. I took a few shots of the moon but didn’t use my tripod. Still, I got a decent shot of the moon at dusk.

August Moon

I saw the Blue Moon tonight. I got some great shots with amazing detail. It’s called a blue moon because it’s the second full moon in a calendar month.

PartnerAlso today is our 8 1/2 year anniversary! When we get to this point each year, we say it’s almost the next year. For example we can now say it’s almost been 9 years. Happy anniversary!
