What a beautiful morning! I walked 3.11 miles on the track. On my way home the sun was out and shining on the grass. It was beautiful!
Before getting in the shower I got on the scale. Slowly losing weight! I’m down almost 10 pounds since I retired.

Finally today I had some dry pavement to walk on. I walked 3.06 miles on the track at AU.
I walked 2.29 miles today at the AU track. I was half way through my walk when it started to rain. Enough rain to make me head home. I was a little wet by the time I got home. I was hoping to get to 3 miles today but the rain stopped that. I didn’t walk at all yesterday because of the rain. Here’s the sky on my way to the track. It looked good but those dark clouds brought the rain quicker than I thought they would.
The weather was perfect today! But the track team was on the track at AU so I couldn’t walk on the track. I ended up walking around the neighborhood. I walked 2.81 miles today. I was up early enough to see the sun through he trees. Here’s a cool shot of the sun and the trees.
This morning I had to have some blood work so I got up extra early and went to get my blood taken. On the way home I saw this beautiful sunrise. I instantly got an amazing feeling in my body. This is also the first day of the rest of my life. I say that because I finally realized it’s time to stop smoking. After my shower this morning I slapped on the nicotine patch and plan to use it as long as I need to to get past the nasty habit. I had my last smokey treat at 10:20 AM.
After my blood work this morning, I went right to the track at AU and walked 3.10 miles. While there the sky filled with clouds and I snapped a picture. Later a young gazelle came onto the track and ran very fast past me. Oh to see the young ones.
