These computer issues are driving me crazy. Last week I was in the middle of using my computer and the screen split (I posted about it below this post). I forced a shut down since I couldn’t use the mouse. When I started it up again I got a variety of different things on the screen. One time black, one time gray, one time blue. So I eventually shut it down and made an appointment at the Genius bar for first thing today.
Over the weekend I tried starting it up several times. One time it started up just fine. No issues. And its stayed that way for the rest of the weekend. Last night I decided to cancel my appointment at the Genius bar. I didn’t want to take the computer in and have it start up just fine. They would think I was nuts. Today the computer started up just fine. I used it for a few hours before it went nuts and went blue. You can see the out of focus picture below. I used my iPhone and was trying to capture it before it went away. I have tried to restart it several times and it just comes up to a gray screen. The apple shows up and the little spinner thing shows up but right before the spinner goes away, it turns gray.
So a got online again and tried to schedule an appointment at the Genius bar but the earliest I could get is Wednesday morning. I have a bad feeling it’s either going to cost a lot to get fixed or I’ll have to get a new computer. Ugh!

Something Is Wrong
Earlier this evening the screen on my iMac started flickering. Then it went all to gray. I restarted it and it was fine for a few minutes then it went all gray again. I reset the PRAM and restarted it. It worked fine for about an hour and a half. Then it went black. I restarted it and it worked for just a few minutes when this happened. It’s like my screen is split in two and moved around. I can move the mouse around but it doesn’t look like a mouse. It looks like a dotted line. I can’t do anything though. I can click the mouse but nothing happens on the screen. I think I have a screen issue! I cant NOT afford to get a new computer right now. Ugh!! Time for some research on the MacBook Air. Glad I have something to do some research to find out what this is.
