The button on my favorite pair of shorts was getting very loose. I decided to take out my sewing machine to see if it could sew a button on my shorts. After doing some reading in the user manual I found that indeed it could. So I used the sewing machine to sew the button on and it worked! Yes, I know, it would have been faster to just hand sew it but I wanted to figure it out on my sewing machine.

I’ve been wanting to make a pillow with my sewing machine for awhile now. I decided today was the day. I got out the sewing machine and all my materials. It actually didn’t take too long to get it all together and before I knew it, I had a pillow down. It’s a little lopsided but I think for my first pillow I did a pretty good job. I want to make another one with piping around the edge but that’s a big more advanced. I need to learn how to cut the material so that it’s a bit more even. I wanted a square but it turned into a bit of a rectangle.
It was cloudy again today so I walked 1.86 miles indoors.
