Today I took my mom over to my partner’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. His parents flew in from New Orleans to join us for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and the food was delicious of course! Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday we had our annual Thanksgiving dinner. My mom and my partner’s parents joined us as they usually do. We’ve been doing this for several years now. We enjoy spending time with our parents and catching up and enjoying a delicious meal and some wonderful wines. This is my favorite time of year.

Thanksgiving
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving today. My partner cooked for his parents and my mother and me. The food was delicious, the weather was nice and of course the company was perfect. Several hours after the meal I am still stuffed.
We had a very special bottle of wine with dinner. We got this bottle of wine while in California in July. It paired wonderfully with our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the 2009 Pinot Noir from Hazel Vineyards in Sonoma.
