Today I finished up all the trim and the ceiling painting. I also painted the door. While doing the ceiling painting, my head got a little too close to the wet paint and I gave myself highlights! Ha! No worry, the paint came out in the shower.
I walked a total of 2.87 miles today. It was a busy day! More painting tomorrow.
Today I got started on the painting job. I needed to wash all the walls to get all the grease off and prepared for painting. Then I taped off the areas that needed taping. Then I started with the trim. By the end of the day I had all the trim done and one coat on the ceiling. I’ll finish that tomorrow. With all the activity today I walked a total of 2.41 miles. I didn’t have time for photos and really didn’t think about it all day.
This morning I took my husband to the airport. He was traveling to New Orleans to join his family for their beach vacation. He’ll be gone for almost two weeks. I’ll miss him but I’ll get a lot done while he’s gone. I have plans to paint the kitchen. I started taking things out of the kitchen already. I didn’t take any pictures today. But I did move a lot today. It only added up to 1.66 miles though. I’ll do better tomorrow when I really get into the painting job.
This evening we went to dinner with the Dails. We went to Cafe Deluxe. We had a few bottles of wine and a great meal. Then we walked down to the Cathedral parking lot and watched some of the fireworks. We just missed the national ones but other jurisdictions were still doing fireworks so we could see those. It was very humid!
Walked a total of 3.68 miles today.
I didn’t take any pictures but I did do a workout. I walked 1.41 miles indoors today. Maybe I’ll take a picture tomorrow. We didn’t do anything today to take pictures of except go to the grocery store and there are no interesting pictures to take.
