Today I got started on the painting job. I needed to wash all the walls to get all the grease off and prepared for painting. Then I taped off the areas that needed taping. Then I started with the trim. By the end of the day I had all the trim done and one coat on the ceiling. I’ll finish that tomorrow. With all the activity today I walked a total of 2.41 miles. I didn’t have time for photos and really didn’t think about it all day.

Goodbye Husband
This morning I took my husband to the airport. He was traveling to New Orleans to join his family for their beach vacation. He’ll be gone for almost two weeks. I’ll miss him but I’ll get a lot done while he’s gone. I have plans to paint the kitchen. I started taking things out of the kitchen already. I didn’t take any pictures today. But I did move a lot today. It only added up to 1.66 miles though. I’ll do better tomorrow when I really get into the painting job.

This evening we went to dinner with the Dails. We went to Cafe Deluxe. We had a few bottles of wine and a great meal. Then we walked down to the Cathedral parking lot and watched some of the fireworks. We just missed the national ones but other jurisdictions were still doing fireworks so we could see those. It was very humid!
Walked a total of 3.68 miles today.
Still Life
I didn’t do any walking today because my watch seemed to be messing up the exercise ring. I wasn’t doing anything but my heart was racing and it counted it as exercise. I was sitting on the couch watching TV and my watch dinged. It said my exercise ring closed. I wasn’t doing any exercise. It was weird. Even though I didn’t actually do any exercise walking, I did walk a total of 1.67 miles today. It was REALLY hot. I wouldn’t have gone outside anyway.
