Bird Watching

Today I joined my gay retirement group at Teddy Roosevelt Island on the Potomac River. We were walking around the island and seeing the sights. It was unusually warm today and the sun was out so it was perfect for walking. I also looked for birds and found the mallard duck and the blue herring. Those are my first two birds this year.

I walked a total of 3.60 miles today. Great day for walking.

Bird Watching

I haven’t been bird watching in a long time. I went to Huntley Meadows to do some bird watching. I didn’t find any new birds but it was fun to get back to taking pictures of birds and seeing them in nature.

I walked 2.02 miles on the treadmill and a total of 5.22 miles today.

Over the last three days I’ve been bird watching at different locations. I’ve added eleven birds! Here are the birds I’ve seen and photographed.
