My friend Jill and I went to the National Arboretum to see what might be blooming. It was much but there were a lot of birds. I was able to add five more birds to my count. I also took a few other pictures at the Arboretum.

Today is our 6th wedding anniversary. It’s also the 16th anniversary of our first date. Congrats to us!
Now that all the states have finished their counting, it’s official! Joe Biden is our next President!
Tonight we went to the Dails and ate outside while watching the coverage on TV. We had a great time celebrating!
There have been a lot of protests lately. More and more people are joining the marches/protests. And there are more and more police and looks like military out there trying to control them. Today I went on a walk with my friend Lynn. We walked down to Black Lives Matter Plaza. We then walked over to Lafayette Park and saw the huge fences up around the park and around the White House. You can’t get anywhere close to the White House and you can’t go into the park at all. It was a little scary walking around seeing the protests and seeing all the signs up. I was glad I was able to get down there and see it and experience it.
After staying home for so long we decided to get out to a winery today. We met the Dails at Gray Ghost. Masks are now required so we were sure to wear them. We got to taste the new rosé they have. It’s very good. We ate our lunch outside. It felt more comfortable and safe outside. Plus it was a nice day.
