Just An Update

Okay, I'm having internet connection issues and haven't been able to post anything of substance on this blog. My connection really sucks and I wish they would get it fixed.

I was a bit glad to see that Hillary made strides this week in the primaries. I'm not sure if it will help her in the long run but I did feel glad that she's back in it. However, I do think it's time for the dems to come together and make a decision so they can start attacking McCain.

And speaking of him, doesn't he look a lot like Bush? Now that it's solid that he's the nominee of the repubs, he will start attacking the dems on everything. It won't be long before they start saying the dems don't have it together and they won't be able to get it together to be president. I still think in the long run the dems will win and things can begin to change.

Oh, and one more thing. I have another week before spring break! I can't wait for some time off!

Okay, now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

Here We Go Again

I know there are some who really like Nader and think he’ll be a good president, but it won’t happen. The man doesn’t have a chance. The only thing he’ll do is screw it up again for the Democrats. I certainly hope those who voted for him in 2000 will not make the same mistake again. The last 7 years would have been totally different had Nader not been in the race in 2000. I know, I know, some people think it didn’t make a difference but I don’t agree. People, don’t vote for this man. He doesn’t have a chance and we NEED to get a Democrat in the White House. Don’t make the same mistake!

Fat Tuesday

I'm not religious but I know it's Fat Tuesday. I'm fat too. It's time to get back to watching my weight and doing something about it. So I've put my pedometer on and I'm going to try to walk 5 miles a day. I used to do it so easily but as I get older it's harder and harder to reach that 5 mile mark. Yesterday I only walked 3.16 miles. I would love to lose 20 pounds but I'd be happy with 10 for the time being. I'm not going to put any pressure on myself though. And I'll do it slowly.

Oh, and it's Super Tuesday! If your state is participating in the almost national primary, get out and vote. Our primary isn't until February 12th. It will probably all be over by that time but I'm still planning on voting. Who will I vote for? I'm still not sure. Now that John Edwards is out, I need to think seriously between Obama and Clinton. I'll keep thinking.
