I could always just wear a jockstrap like Chas or BJland but I just don't think that would fly at the work place. Of course we'd all like to see Mark in a jockstrap! I do own a jockstrap but I don't think anyone wants to see me in one. I need to drop a few more pounds before that happens.
I'm pretty anal about what I wear. Homer can tell you that my closet is filled with plaid shirts. I have several colors of Dockers that I wear to work. Every night before going to bed I lay out the clothes I plan to wear the next day. I pick out the shirt, the pants, the socks, the t-shirt, and underwear. I set them all out so that once I get out of the shower in the morning, I can get dressed without having to be completely awake. Last week one of the “girls” at work wore boots. Except one boot was brown and the other was black. I laughed at her all day. She was so embarrassed. It was great.
This morning I went about my routine. I showered and got dressed. Once I was dressed, it just didn't feel right. The pants were a little loose and the shirt was a little tight. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I just didn't like the way that outfit felt. So, I changed clothes. I picked out a new shirt and new pants. Again, it just didn't feel right. I was spending too much time on this. It should be easy. I should just be able to get dressed and go. I ended up changing again. For some reason anything I picked out this morning just didn't feel right. I decided I would put up with it and get through the day.
I kept feeling an itch on my back the whole day. I could not figure out what was wrong. When I get home from work each day I always change into my kick around clothes. Well, when I pulled off my t-shirt, I discovered what was bothering me all day. There was a dryer sheet stuck to my t-shirt on the back side causing the weird feeling all day. No matter what I changed into this morning, that dryer sheet would have bugged me anyway. Damn, I'm glad that sheet didn't work it's way down my sleeve and out my cuff during the day. That would have been embarrassing.
P.S. What the hell happened to all the comments on my last post? There were some great comments! Once I posted this entry, the comments were gone. Damn! Those were some of the best comments I've gotten. Feel free to repost them.
