This was harvest weekend at our favorite winery. The boyfriend’s parents flew up from New Orleans to join us. This is the second year they’ve joined this. This is becomming a tradition. This is my 4th year harvesting grapes.

We stayed in a hotel Saturday night to make it easier to get up at 5 AM and drive to the winery. It was very chilly this morning but it warmed up pretty quickly. After getting a quick reminder lesson, we started harvesting grapes. With about 60 other people we harvest almost 7 tons of chardonnay grapes. We had a good time harvesting and catching up with the boyfriend’s parents. Here are a few pictures.
