I visited New York in March of 1996. I visited the World Trade Center during that visit and took several photos. I knew that I had these photos but never really looked for them until today.
This one was taken a few blocks from the towers.
During that trip I took a ferry over to the Statue of Liberty. Here you can see the towers behind me.

Well, it was a long time ago…I think I was 31 in that photo. 🙂
I was looking at those photos trying to contemplate the numbers involved but its just so crazy even 10 years later. 3000 people, 1500 in each tower lets say (I know rough figures) but that would be a row of ten people at ten windows on 150 floors in BOTH towers, thats just still a horrible thing to think about.
And yes, you do look young….Did you have leg warmers on, did your walkman have the latest Madonna albumn in it? LOL
