Over the weekend the boyfriend and I went to a vertical tasting at our favorite winery. A vertical tasting is where you taste a flight of wines from different years…for example we were able to taste Merlots from 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. We also got to taste a flight of reserve cabernets from 1993, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2004. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the wines. Here’s a picture of us during the evening. I look fat and the boyfriend looks like he’s forcing a smile. We’re cute though.
